Electric-car financing and EKII support
We help arrange a loan or leasing for an electric car. For eligible cars, financing can be combined with government EKII support. We will arrange the purchase and delivery, even if the car is still abroad.
Support is available while the programme is active and funding is available. A decision is made after the application is reviewed.
Car leasing / Car loan
Check the amount, down payment and term. The smallest credit is €500, financing is up to 90% of the price.
Representative example: car price €15,000, down payment €1,500.00 (10 %), total amount of credit €13,500.00, term 72 months, fixed borrowing rate 7.9 % per year, contract fee €100, APR (GPL) 8.62 %, total amount payable €17,157.52, 72 monthly payments of €236.91. The lender decides on the credit. We are not a lender. We pass your application to our partner SIA "Nord Auto Līzings".

Electric car + EKII
Your car is the down payment. An electric car with EKII support.
We will find an electric car in our catalogue or from your link. We will help arrange financing and EKII support. If needed, we will organise the purchase and delivery, even if the car is still abroad.
Basic EKII support — up to €9,000
The amount depends on the car and the family status. For a regular buyer: €4,000 for a new and €3,000 for a used electric car. Scrappage and family top-ups are calculated separately.

EKII support amounts and key conditions

In addition: €2,000 for scrapping a qualifying car or donating it to the Armed Forces of Ukraine — not two top-ups for one car.
Family top-up: €1,000 for every child from the fourth, when the Goda ģimene conditions are met and the car has at least 5 seats. Eligibility is checked against documents; this estimate is not an approval.
The total support is limited to 90% of the car price incl. VAT. €9,000 is not a general ceiling for all top-ups.
A used electric car: at most 7 years old, at most 150,000 km, on the Latvian register for at most 12 months.
Base price excl. VAT (PVN): up to €45,000, or up to €60,000 for 6+ seats, for new and used cars alike. It is the base configuration price and must not be replaced by the listing price with tax.
The buyer is a permanent resident of Latvia. An M1/N1 electric car: 0 g CO₂/km, a city range of at least 150 km, a top speed of at least 90 km/h. A new plug-in hybrid (up to 50 g CO₂/km, at least 50 km on electricity) also qualifies, a used one does not.
«New» under EKII: used for less than 6 months or less than 6,000 km. It is a legal definition, not a seller's label; the category and documents are confirmed by the person responsible.
The purchase goes through a programme participant: the seller and the specific car must be in the published EKII list. The application is filed before the car is registered to the buyer. We do not promise EKII automatically for any foreign link.
Registration in Latvia, limits on selling and commercial use, yearly reporting and mileage obligations remain. The programme runs until the money runs out, no later than 31.12.2029.
Scrappage: an M1/N1 car with a combustion engine, registered in Latvia for at least a year, in your ownership for at least three months, with a road permit for the last 11 months and on the day of handover, with at least 5,000 km a year between the two latest roadworthiness tests. A certificate from a licensed dismantler is needed; the supported purchase must follow within 12 months of it.
